Acne Back / Buttock

Acne should be treated early to prevent scarring, which is more difficult to treat. Treatment is always a combination of different creams or lotions, as the causative factors are multiple.

Oral Isotretinoin is recommended for pustular, nodular, and scarring acne.

Clearance of acne is achieved through a combination of creams and chemical peels. The peels, by exfoliating and reducing oil production, are able to clear acne effectively.

Acne scarring is effectively treated with a combination of chemical peels, derma-needling and/or fractional laser. The fractional laser that is used is safe even on tanned skin, with little chance of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

The good news is that acne and associated scarring can be completely cleared.
