- We have an extensive range of chemical peels that include
- Glycolic Acid (Neostrata)
- Salicylic Acid (PCA)
- TCA (Trichloroacetic acid)
- Obagi Blue Peel
- Cosmelan Peel
On account of extensive experience, we have been able to pick and retain peels that have had excellent results for our patients. Each one is well-suited for particular conditions. The Obagi and Cosmelan are great for melasma, while Salicylic acid is most effective for acne (pimples). Glycolic is a great anti-ageing peel that takes care of fine lines, and also gives the skin a healthy glow. The TCA peel is ideal for acne scars and tightening ageing skin
In general, the benefits of a chemical peel are tighter, radiant and youthful skin, an even complexion, and the reduction of acne, acne scars, and fine lines.
The peels are a good adjunct treatment for acne, acne scars, ageing skin, and hyperpigmentation. In a matured skin, it gives the radiance and youthfulness that is difficult to achieve with facials alone.
Peels, when used correctly, do not thin the skin or make it more sensitive to the sun. On the contrary, research has shown that it ‘plumps up’ the skin through collagen remodeling. (citation?)
Peels are the best solution for post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). PIH appears as darker patches on the skin, and occurs after inflammation as in the case of eczema or acne. PIH may also occur after burns, including those from waxing, chemical peels, IPL or lasers, and from friction from shaving that cause dark patches on legs, armpits, and the groin.
