Chemical Peels

  • Glycolic Acid (Neostrata)
  • Salicylic Acid (PCA)
  • TCA (Tichloroacetic acid)
  • Obagi Blue Peel
  • Cosmelan Peel

With experience we have been able to pick and retain peels that have had excellent results…each one is great for a certain condition, such as the Obagi and Cosmelan are great for melasma while Salicylic acid is most effective for acne (pimples). Glycolic is a great anti aging peel…takes care of fine lines and also gives the skin a great glow. The TCA peel is great for acne scars and to tighten the aging skin

Benefits are tighter and radiant skin, even complexion, reduction of acne, acne scars, fine lines and anti-aging.

The peels are a good adjunct treatment for acne, acne scars, aging skin and hyperpigmentation. In a matured skin it gives the radiance and youthfulness that is difficult to achieve with facials alone.

Peels when used correctly does not thin the skin or make it more sensitive to the sun. On the contrary, research have shown that it plumps up the skin through collagen remodelling.

Peels are the best solution for post inflammatory hyperpigmentation( PIH). PIH appear as darker patches on the skin and occur after inflammation as in the case of ezcema or acne. Also can occur after burns including those from waxing, chemical peels, IPL or lasers and from friction from shaving causing dark patches on legs, arm pits and the groin.
